#Mountain Views

#Phewa Lake

Mahendra Gupha house of bat s. Located at north of Pokhara. It is a popular place, the major attraction of this caves it has got large limestone cave. Where you need to carry torch light to see the stalactites and stalagmites.

Nepal is known as country with the presence of numerous vibrant festivals. It is observed or celebrated according to religion. People belongs to different kinds or religion, makes belief on their own diety and observed festival as per their religion. On a context of Nepal there is existence to be more festival than the days in a year. Though it sounds like quiet despotic. But it's true. Nepal has its own history to implement different kinds of festivals belonging to honor Hindu & Buddhist god/godess. It is believed that important schedule to observed those festivals are practised from ancient mythology and epic literature.

In my view our rich culture has its own significant identity to expressed joys and sorrows among people.Though we belong to different group, but we do celebrate each festivals equally with harmony. Normally people who are inhabitants to Kathmandu Valley observe more festivals in compare to other regions in Nepal. Though it feel like to be felt on dilemma, but it's true. People who are living in Kathmandu Valley are Newari, they celebrate numerous incompare to Brahmins and Chettris. Newari people has played a vital role in preservation of culture. They are highly devoteed to their religion and festivals. People have unity to observe and created a awareness among people in terms to preserve it. Also they had handover these traditions from forefather to their youngster. As you can see they wear their own hand made dress which are made from natural resource which is available. Langtang Valley Trek

The Langtang trek is third most popular  trekking destination after the Annapurna and Everest Region. Langtang Gosaikunda Trek(Holy Lake)

Langtang Gosaikunda Trek is unique combination tradition & culture and spectacular valley of Langtang with high primordial mountains lake at Gosaikunda. It is believed that the primordial lake created by Lord Shiva to draw water to cool his throat after swallowing poison.The Langtang Valley is enriched with glaciers from Langtang and Ganesh Himal ranges which has played a vital role in formation of high altitude lake like Gosaikunda, Parvatikunda, Bhairavkunda and Dudhkunda. This region is highly dominant by Tamang and Tibetan orient who are highly professional in skillful crafts. #Visa, Permits and Fees
Tourist Visa
Travelers who are foreign nationality who intends to visit Nepal must have valid passport or travel document which is equivalent to passport issued by the government. To visiting a foreign country to apply for visa.

#Entry:
It is strictly prohibited to enter into and stay in Nepal without any valid visa. Tourist can obtain the Nepalese visa from Nepalese Embassy or Consulate or immigration offices located on entry points in Nepal.

#Visa Fee
1. Fee required to obtain Tourist Visa from Nepalese diplomatic agencies and entry points:
a. US $ 25 or equivalent foreign currency for Tourist Visa with Multiple Entry which valid for 15 days.

b. US $ 40 or equivalent foreign currency for Tourist Visa with Multiple Entry for 30 days.

c. US $ 100 or equivalent foreign currency for Tourist Visa with Multiple Entry for 100 days.

d. Regardless of the provision stated in 1 (a) and 1 (b), tourists with passport from South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) nations aren't required to pay visa fee for 30 days.

2. Fee to be levied for renewal or regularization of tourist visa
a. Nepalese currency equivalent to US $ 2 per day to renew the validity of tourist visa.

b. If multiple entry facility is required to be valid for the renewed period, additional US $ 20 along with fees prescribed in 2 (a) has to be paid.

c. Foreigner who have stayed here without renewing visa, need to pay Nepalese currency equivalent to US $ 3 per day along with the required extension fee.

d. Foreigners, who have already overstayed for more than 150 days without renewing tourist visa shall be levied the fees referred in clause 2(c) and a penalty of Rs 50,000 as per the Immigration Act.

e. Regardless of provision stated in 2(a), 15 days is counted as minimum extension period and visa fee is charged accordingly. For extension period more than 15 days, visa fee is charged as per the provision of Nepal.

Trekking Permit

Trekkers who are willing to travel to controlled areas in Nepal for Trekking. Trekkers need to obtain Trekking Permit issued by the Department of Immigration under the Home Ministry. Restricted Areas of Nepal required special permit in order to do a Trek. Individual trekkers cannot obtain restricted area permit. They have to join other Trekking Company to obtain permit.

Dolpa District


a. Lower Dolpo             Per week per person USD 10 or equivalent convertible foreign currency.

b. Upper Dolpo           10 days per person USD 500 and After 10 days per day per person USD 50


Taplejung District     Per week per person USD 10 or equivalent convertible currency


Kanchenjunga Region    Per week per person USD 10 or equivalent convertible currency

GRADINGS OF TREKKING IN NEPAL

Trekking
 Nepal land of glory. A hidden Shangrila.  The 800 mile long Himalayan region which is famous for its climbing expedition and pristine trekking routes and thrilling adventure. Trekking can be structured for few days to several weekends.

Being a mountainous country the elevation of the country ranges from 60 meter above sea level to the highest point on earth, Mount Everest 8848 meter. Nepal is divided into different Climatic condition from Sub-tropical to Alpine. Due to the presence of unique climatic variation the grading of trek are into different category.

Grade A: Soft/Easy Trek
This grade trek is easy. On these days you will reach altitude up to 2000 meters. Approximately we will walk 16 km per day.

Grade B: Moderate/Medium
This is medium grade of trek. The trekkers will reach altitude up to 3000 meters. Normally the walking distance approximately will 12 km per day.

Grade C: Difficult/Strenuous
With the change in altitudinal variations the trekker will have to climb above 3000 meters. On these day walking distance will 8 km per day. This grade is difficult in compare to other.

Grade D: Technical/ Challenges
Being a Mountainous country the challenges are more adventurous and daring. This grade includes different high passes to climb mountain. The trekkers/climbers will reach altitude above 5000 meters and will have to walk normally 4 – 5 km per day


Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek (Panoramic 360degree views of mighty peak)
Poonhill trek is regarded as a panoramic viewpoint trek to watch sunrise over stunning mountain vistas. This trek provides a tempting destination. Normally this trek is moderate because it doesn’t take you right in among the mountains. The Highlights of this trek is to hike early up to Poon Hill to witness one of the spectacular sunrise views. It start with from Besisahar(823m) to the highest pass Thorung La (5416m).The trail passes through different variety of landscapes from sub-tropical rainforest to wooden alpine.On this trails there is presence of different ethnic villages,and people. The magnificent view of Himalayan peaks includes Annapurna(8091m), Dhaulagiri(8167m)     and Machhapuchhre.The trail climbs gradually allows acclimatize to the trekkers. After crossing the Thorung-La the trek goes down passing through the Kali Gandaki which is also known as world’s deepest gorge. For the completion of this trek normal physical fitness will be appropriate for trekker’s.

A daring adventure around seventh highest peak in the world Dhaulagiri(8167m). The Trek starts from Beni and follow the route of Myagdi Khola westwards to Darbang.  Most of the route is covered with snow and trekkers should pass through the glacier when it crosses French Col pass (5420m). During the trekking the trekkers follow the route head of hidden valley, and cross Dhampus Pass (5155m). Normally trek end with descending through Marpha and return to Pokhara via flight. A Virgin Trail where the mountain scenery is simply breathtaking.

Mustang Trek (Journey to paradise)

The forbidden Kingdom which is also known as the desert of Nepal. The Upper Mustang was opened strictly limited numbers of trekkers only in 1992 because to protect the local traditions from outside influence as well as to protect environment. KATHMANDU VALLEY
The Kathmandu Valley is considered as the major political and cultural hub of Nepal. It has indispensable role in terms of formation as the first stop for the majority of visitors to the country. SWAYAMBHUNATH STUPA

BOUDDHANATH STUPA
It is regarded as one of the largest stupa in the world which is located at 6 km to the east of down town Kathmandu. It is also known as a Khasti. It is believed that it was a ancient junction between Nepal and Tibet trade route. There are more than 50 Buddhist monasteries in the area. It has remained as a World Heritage Site.


BHAKTAPUR DURBAR SQUARE
The ancient historic place located at 13 km east of Kathmandu. It is called as a  the plaza of royal palace. It has remained as major tourist hub destination. The major attraction of these place is 55 Window Palace, Vatsala Temple, Statue of Bhupatindra Malla, Nyatapol Temple, Golden Gate, Lion's Gate and Mini Pashupati Temple. Bhaktapur Durbar Square vividly showcase the skills of Newari artist and craftsmen who build these unique place.

CHANGU NARAYAN TEMPLE
It is situated on a ridge over looking the Kathmandu Valley. Located at 12 km to the east of the city.
Changu Narayan Temple highly dedicated to the Hindu god Bishnu. It represents the craftsmen skills the temple is embellished with exquisite wood and stone carving. Therefore it is regarded as one of the finest and oldest specimens of pagoda architecture.

PASHUPATINATH TEMPLE
One of the most sacred Hindu shrines in the world. Located at 5 km east of the city. The phallic symbol of Lord Shiva. It represent highly craftsmen skill of richly-ornamented pagoda houses. According to mythology it is believed that temple was erected in 15th century.Devotees can be noticed taking ritual dips in Holy Bagmati river flowing beside the temple.

KATHMANDU DURBAR SQUARE
The courtyard of temples built in 12th and 18th centuries. It is a show case of newari art and craftmen ship over several centuries. Built in Licchavi period in the third century. It is protected as a UNESCO world heritage sites.

ITINERARY:
Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu airport (1345meters)
Arrival and transfer to hotel. Preparation for trekking. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu to Phaplu (2470m) 9hrs
After breakfast drive to Phaplu which takes 8/9 hour drive by private jeeps/local bus. Excursion around Phaplu local markets and local villages. Overnight at Lodge.
Day 03 : Phaplu to Junbesi (2700m) 5hrs
On this day after breakfast we will follow the trail which descend downhill to reach Junbesi which takes approximately 5 hours. Trail offers some views of gushing small stream, forest. Over night at lodge.

Day 04: Junbesi to Lamjura (3500m) 6hrs
This day we will follow trail which ascend uphill, along the way participants have to cross Junbesi Khola and ascend towards Lamjura hill which offer jaw dropping view of Everest(8848), Thamserku (6623m), Kantega(6782m) and Mera Peak(6476m). Along the way trail passes through Ringmo Village which are inhabitants Sherpa community. One hour forty minutes hike to Lamjura hill it offers spectacular views of Everest and other peaks. Overnight at Teahouse.

Day 05: Lamjura to Pikey Base Camp (2700m) 6hrs
On this day we will follow the trail often leads gradually climb up hill or downhill. Along the way trail offers to experience high altitude vegetation, floras and faunas. Also we can see yak herding, Pine forest, Juniper Tree. If our luck favors we can see wild animals like Beer, Mountain goats, Danphe etc. Overnight at lodge.


Day 06: Pikey peak to Jhapre (6/7 hrs) 6hrs
On this day we will wake up at  05:30am and hike to uphill to see 360 degree sunrise view over Makalu, Everest, Manaslu, Annapurna, Gaurishankar, Numbur, Karyalung , Rolwaling range and Langtang range.  After watching Sunrise view we will descend to  lodge for breakfast. Trail descend gradually to reach Jhapre along the way we can see villages, unique landscapes and sceneries. Overnight at lodge.

Day 07: Jhapre to Dhap (5/6hrs)
After breakfast we will follow zigzag trail to reach Jhapre. On this day we have to walk through motorable road. Sometimes we can see vehicles along the way. But we will also follow shortcut routes. Trail offers some glimpse of Everest, Makalu, Nuptse, Lhotse, Thamserku and other peaks. Overnight at Lodge.

Day 08 : Dhap to Kathmandu(7 hours)       
After breakfast drive to Kathmandu by private jeep 4X4 which takes 7 hours drive. Overnight at Hotel in Kathmandu

Day 09: Final Departure to onward destination.
