GRADINGS OF TREKKING IN NEPAL
Trekking

Being a
mountainous country the elevation of the country ranges from 60 meter above sea
level to the highest point on earth, Mount Everest 8848 meter. Nepal is divided
into different Climatic condition from Sub-tropical to Alpine. Due to the
presence of unique climatic variation the grading of trek are into different
category.
Grade A: Soft/Easy Trek
This grade
trek is easy. On these days you will reach altitude up to 2000 meters. Approximately
we will walk 16 km per day.
Grade B: Moderate/Medium
This is
medium grade of trek. The trekkers will reach altitude up to 3000 meters. Normally
the walking distance approximately will 12 km per day.
Grade C: Difficult/Strenuous
With the
change in altitudinal variations the trekker will have to climb above 3000
meters. On these day walking distance will 8 km per day. This grade is difficult
in compare to other.
Grade D: Technical/ Challenges
Being a
Mountainous country the challenges are more adventurous and daring. This grade
includes different high passes to climb mountain. The trekkers/climbers will
reach altitude above 5000 meters and will have to walk normally 4 – 5 km per
day
Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek (Panoramic 360degree views of mighty peak)

Annapurna Circuit is the most popular trek which is about 300 kms trails during
the trek. It start with from Besisahar(823m) to the highest pass Thorung La
(5416m).The trail passes through different variety of landscapes from
sub-tropical rainforest to wooden alpine.On this trails there is presence of
different ethnic villages,and people. The magnificent view of Himalayan peaks
includes Annapurna(8091m), Dhaulagiri(8167m) and
Machhapuchhre.The trail climbs gradually allows acclimatize to the trekkers.
After crossing the Thorung-La the trek goes down passing through the Kali
Gandaki which is also known as world’s deepest gorge. For the completion of

A daring
adventure around seventh highest peak in the world Dhaulagiri(8167m). The Trek
starts from Beni and follow the route of Myagdi Khola westwards to
Darbang. Most of the route is covered
with snow and trekkers should pass through the glacier when it crosses French
Col pass (5420m). During the trekking the trekkers follow the route head of
hidden valley, and cross Dhampus Pass (5155m). Normally trek end with
descending through Marpha and return to Pokhara via flight. A Virgin Trail
where the mountain scenery is simply breathtaking.
Mustang Trek (Journey to paradise)
The
forbidden Kingdom which is also known as the desert of Nepal. The Upper Mustang
was opened strictly limited numbers of trekkers only in 1992 because to protect

the Kali Gandaki, beyond the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. Normally the trek starts

downhill with the panoramic views of Nilgiri, Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and other
peaks. This Trail was a trade route between Nepal and Tibet in earlier.

Nepal first Monastery was build in Drakmar which is known as Laygay Kar Gumba.
