#FESTIVALS OF NEPAL
Nepal is known as country with the presence of numerous vibrant festivals. It is observed or celebrated according to religion. People belongs to different kinds or religion, makes belief on their own diety and observed festival as per their religion. On a context of Nepal there is existence to be more festival than the days in a year. Though it sounds like quiet despotic. But it's true. Nepal has its own history to implement different kinds of festivals belonging to honor Hindu & Buddhist god/godess. It is believed that important schedule to observed those festivals are practised from ancient mythology and epic literature.
In my view our rich culture has its own significant identity to expressed joys and sorrows among people.Though we belong to different group, but we do celebrate each festivals equally with harmony. Normally people who are inhabitants to Kathmandu Valley observe more festivals in compare to other regions in Nepal. Though it feel like to be felt on dilemma, but it's true. People who are living in Kathmandu Valley are Newari, they celebrate numerous incompare to Brahmins and Chettris. Newari people has played a vital role in preservation of culture. They are highly devoteed to their religion and festivals. People have unity to observe and created a awareness among people in terms to preserve it. Also they had handover these traditions from forefather to their youngster. As you can see they wear their own hand made dress which are made from natural resource which is available. Likewise Chhettris, Brahmins and other community people, they had play a vital role in preservation of their culture and traditions. Due to their indispensable role till now Nepal has its own identity and also it has been able to grab attention of people from all over the world.
Nepal is a homeland of unique festivals. People can noticed themself, when they are in Nepal. Every month there used to be festival which occured as per lunar calendar. I will to urge visitors who are willing to travel Nepal. Please arrange your program as per schedule of calendar.
