On my view Dhaulagiri Circuit Trek is challenging where high skilled guides and porters are required in order to complete it. As you go through the history, you can read story of life time achievement of great climbers who conquered mighty Dhaulagiri (8167 m). Likewise trekking in these region are quiet technical to accomplish. Trekker's have to face challenges settle down camp site on higher pass. Dhaulagiri Trek is a virgin trail only few trekkers make a successful attempt. Prescribed by a trekkers who knows the climbing skill and well knowledge of equipment which are used in climbing peaks. In these trek most of its trail is covered with Snow which is hard to step on it. So in order to avoid problem trekkers are required to carry gators, ice axe and fixed rope to face obstacles during trek.
Unleashing challenge of Dhaulagiri Circuit Trek is a worth while experience of my life time. It feels like traveling to other world. I can't describe the beauty of Dhaulagiri region. Simply they are best and rich in terms of flora and fauna as well as crystal clear views of peaks. I've been different trekking routes in Nepal. But Dhaulagiri Trek is more fascinating destination. I would like to recommend you highly to trek down in this region. Simply you can experience glory of nature, trail offers you diverse culture, alpine pastures, forest and barren land.
We made a successful completion of this trek on 12/03/2017. Though it was favorable for us from all source like weather was clear which helped us to cross high pass easily. Trekker's have to start this trek from Beni to Darbang. Trail leads through the hidden valley which is a beautiful place and it feels like to be lost in dilemma. So in order to avoid these problem, you should hire a good guide who knows the way clearly. There is high chance to get lost in hidden valley. We heard a certain mishap has occurred during crossing hidden valley. Similar to these Dhampus pass (5155 m) is also bit more challenging.
I would urge trekkers never mislead with nature. Because sometimes you will be covered with unbeatable problem that arise during your trek. In order to avoid be well mannered and get well equipped with your trekking gears. Create a perfect plan to ensure your treks go well. Likewise organize your trek with trekking company who provides you best deals as well as highly knowledgeable guide and porters. In some places you have to build a camp, so that you are required to organize trek from agencies. People thinks that it is normal route, but in my context it's not. Because many trekkers and their supporter staff has lost their life. Trail in these region is bit challenging due to its climate variations as well as elevation. You can read different types of magazines and articles where authors have described challenges faced by trekkers as well as who lost their life.
Dhaulagiri route was discovered in 1808. This trek is renowned to its remoteness and descending down to Marpha.

Dhaulagiri Circuit trek a pristine trekking destination. Only few trekkers make a completion of this trek. It is more challenging due to its climatic variations. Encircled trekking routes that unleash its thrilling adventure. The beautiful landscape, barren land mighty peak Dhaulagiri which offers mesmerizing experience to get lost in beauty of nature. Most of the parts of these region has its own significant role in terms of bio diversity. Like it is homeland to Kali Gandaki deepest gorge. The first successful expedition was made by Nepali/Swiss/Austrian on May 13 1960. As per the climbing record prepared by Nepalese Government. There were 358 successful attempts and 58 fatalities.
As per the climbing record first major French Expedition was led by Maurice Herzog on 1950. But due to the lack of proper guidance they witched to Annapurna-1 and made a successful attempt. Several expedition were led by different climbers after a successful attempt made by Swiss/Austrian.
